You may be familiar with the Virtual School as an option for students to work on from home. Did you know that classes could be set up on your campus to help students catch up or get ahead as well?  By designating a computer lab, used one class period a day, there are varieties of options available to you. 

 

Some examples of online classes on the campus are:

1)    Advanced Track Lab – Schedule students to a lab during one class period and allow them to complete two courses in one semester.

2)    AP Course Lab – Students can choose from our wide variety of online AP courses and take them all in the same computer lab at the same time.

3)    Credit Recovery Lab – Students can recover credits they lost in an environment that allows them to move quickly through concepts they already understand and slow down to focus on those they do not. (You may have title money available to assist with this as well.)

4)    Before and after school programs - Some campuses offer courses before or after school, and staffing them can be a problem.  Online courses can provide an ideal solution to these situations.
